Absolute Auction: Online Bidding Only. Auction Closes: 7PM - Apr 14, 2nd Preview Sunday, April 12, 1 - 3 PM. We have been commissioned to sell at Absolute Auction the personal property of Ms. Ruby Owens, Ms. Ruby loved her furniture and it was the highlight of her home. Being a child of the 1930's Ruby knew the value of many things. Through the years she bought several items in need of repair and she was able to bring these items back into their glory. We are proud to bring many of her pieces to you; now is your opportunity to bring as many of these wonderful pieces into your shop or home.
Items include: Late 1800's furnitures: vanity/dresser & mirrors, beds, vanity, roll top secretary, a 1800's corner cabinet, a few primative items, a modern oak kitchen table, 330/40's dining room table & 6 chairs, lawn & garden hand tools, block & tackle pieces, a small freezer, 30;s double bed, dolls, quilts, clocks, glassware items, many items marked W. Germany, Germany, Barvaria. Washbowl & Pitcher sets, pressed glass, The antique furniture is some of the best we have seen this year. Ms. Owens has moved from her condo and has no longer a need for many of the items she enjoyed, so know is your time to become the caretaker of her fine items.

Auction Terms & Conditions This is an Internet Only with Online Bidding , A valid Visa or MasterCard credit card is required to register for this auction - A 10% Buyer's Premum - TERMS & CONDITIONS:
1. All items are sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" with all faults. No warranty, refunds or exchanges, All SALES ARE FINAL. No credit card charge backs will be allowed. It is incumbent upon the bidder to inspect the items during the open preview period on Preview Sunday Apr. 12, 1 - 3PM.
2. All descriptions believed accurate but not waranteed. The Auction Company is not responsible for any accidents, loss, theif, errors or omissions.
3. Bidder inspection is encouraged and the property will be available for inspection at the Preview: Sunday, April 12, 1 - 3PM.
4. By placing a bid, bidder signifies that they have examined the items to their satisfaction, or that they have chosen not to personally examine them.
5. At our sole discretion McGinnis Auction & Appraisal Services reserves the right to reject any bid during this auction.
6. Kentucky State Sales Tax of 6% will be collected when required, especially when you don't submit to us your tax identification number, prior to the close of the auction. Email a tax id to fran@mcginnisauctions.com to be exempt from paying tax.
7. Any appliciple taxes due for the purchase of the vehicles will be collected by the State upon vehicle regristration. (No vehicles in this auction)
8. There will be a 10% Buyer's Premium collected on each item purchased ( a box of goods or multiple boxes under the same lot number is considered one item) during this on-line auction to determine your final contract purchase price. Please factor the buyer's premium into your bidding practices.
9. McGinnis Auction & Appraisal Service will collect only Cash, Visa, MasterCard or a bank certifed check from a bank within the Louisville Metro Area, as payment for this auction. There will be no out of town checks accepted for this auction. Upon notification as the winning bidder by the auction company if bidders wish to pay by cash or certified checks they must inform the auction company by email to fran@mcginnisauctions.com, subject: Owen Auction Payment.
10. Bidders who fail to make full payment after being notified they are the winning bidder will be reported to Bidopia and will no longer be allowed to bid at any of our future live or online auctions. All actions necessary will be pursued to collect any unpaid balances.
11. This is an absolute auction and all items are sold as-is, all bids are a binding contract to purchase.
12. A valid credit card is required to register to bid. A pre-authorization will be performed to determine credit availability prior to your bidding. Debit cards may show a hold on funds for a short period, nothing will be charged to your credit card until a purchase has been made.
13. All items must be paid for and removed from the Auction Property by 7PM on April 15, 2015. Bidders failing to pick up items by the times specified will be charged the full purchase amount plus all premiium & tax amounts on the credit card on file and used during the bidder registration. All actions requiring the collection of insufficient funds will be handled by whatever legal means available in the State of Kentucky.
14. Buyers are to bring boxes, packing materials and all manpower as needed to disassemble and load purchased items. If tools are needed for disassembly & removal the buyer will need their own tools, including dollies or other equipment required to remove & transport items from the auction site.
15. The Auction Company employees & family of the seller reserves the right to place a bid on any item scheduled for this auction but must adhere to all terms & conditions set for the general public.
16. Any disputes or collections will be filed or settled in the Courts of Jefferson County, Kentucky. Additional fees may be assessed for unpaid balances and collection service fees.
17. Not internet savvy: Absentee bids are not normally accepted for these online auctions but absentee bids may be handled on a case by case basis. All bidding is encouraged to be handled through the online bidding services provider to McGinnis Auction & Appraisal Services.
18. McGinnis Auction & Appraisal Services reserve the right to cancel and/or reopen the auction in the case of system failures and McGinnis Auction & Appraisal Services can not accept or will not accept any responsibility for any technical failures during this auction .
19. McGinnis Auction & Appraisal Services reserves the right to remove any item from the auction at anytime during the auction until the item has been declared sold.

All purchase must be paid in full by close of the auction, Visa & MasterCard are the only credit cards accepted by the auction company. Charge cards are our preferred method of payments. Bidders may elect to pay with cash but please notify the auction company by email to fran@mcginnisauctions.com, subject: payment Owens Auction. Certified checks will only be accepted on banks with the Louisville Metro area, NO out of town checks will be accepted, no personal checks will be accepted without prior appraoval from McGinnis Auction & Appraisal Services. All checks, personal or bank certified must be for the correct amount & personal checks address information must match current driver's license of the bidder. Pick up will be at 308 Stonehinge, 40207. All bidders must make their own arrangements for shipping if shipping is desired. The Auction Company can not assist in packaging, lifting, moving or shipping of any item purchased. Pickup of puchased items with full payment must be complete by 7PM on Wednesday, April 15, 2015, Pickup periods are April 15, 1 - 7PM, any item not paid for or removed during the pickup period will be charged to the credit card on file for bidder registration. The auction company will meet the shipper/packer of any bidder during the pickup & loadout period but all items must be paid for in full prior to leaving the auction location. Again Pickup: April 15, 1 - 7PM. Please come as early in the day as you can.
