Internet Auction - This is an Internet only auction, registration requires a valid Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express. Bids will only be taken via the Hibid online portal. Call for help if needed. 812-282-7253.

Registration - A valid credit card is required to register to bid. A pre-authorization will be performed to determine credit availability prior to your bidding. Debit cards may show a hold on funds for a short period, nothing will be charged to your credit card until a purchase has been made. Bidders will have set maximum bid amount limits per lot until approved by the auctioneer.
Real Estate - Non-refundable down-payment to be paid by the winning bidder. If you buy the home, a $10,000 non refundable down payment must be delivered to the auction company within 24hrs after the auction closes. This will be applied to your final purchase price at closing. There will be a 10% buyer's premium added to your final bid to determine you contract purchase price. Successful bidders of the real estate shall bring a cashier's check or certified check of the office of McGinnis Auction & Appraisal Service, 412 E. Court Avenue, Jeffersonville. Not internet savvy? - Absentee bids are not normally accepted for these online auctions but absentee bids may be handled on a case by case basis, please give us a call if needed. All bidding is encouraged to be handled through the online bidding services provider Hibid.
Bidding - By placing a bid, the bidder signifies that they have examined the property to their satisfaction, or that they have chosen not to personally examine. At our sole discretion McGinnis Auction & Appraisal Services reserves the right to reject any bid during this auction.*** This auction is using the flat bidding style. (Not max bid! What you bid is what will reflect on the screen. HIBID has additional info if needed)
Bids are Binding - The sale of all property will be at absolute auction and sold as-is. A bid is a binding contract to purchase.
Auction Staff Bidding - Auction Company employees & family of the seller reserve the right to place a bid on any item scheduled for this auction but must adhere to all terms & conditions set for the general public. Ownership must transfer and payment must be made.
Item Condition - All items are sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" with all faults. No warranty, refunds or exchanges, All SALES ARE FINAL. No credit card charge backs will be allowed. It is incumbent upon the bidder to inspect the items during the preview period. We disclose what we know.
Warranties - All descriptions believed accurate but not warranted. McGinnis Auctions and its consignors are not responsible for any accidents, loss, theft, errors or omissions.

Buyer’s Premium - There will be a 10% Buyer's Premium collected during this on-line auction. To determine your final contract purchase price add 10% to your bid.
Closing - Auction completion / soft close

Technical Issues - McGinnis Auction & Appraisal Services reserve the right to cancel and/or reopen the auction in the case of system failures and McGinnis Auction & Appraisal Services can not accept or will not accept any responsibility for any technical failures during this auction.
Non Payment / Failure To Close - Bidders who fail to make full payment after being notified they are the winning bidder will be reported to HiBid and will no longer be allowed to bid at any of our future live or online auctions. All actions necessary will be pursued to collect any unpaid balances. Failure to close on the buyer's behalf will result in the seller keeping the $10,000 non-refundable down payment.
Disputes & Collections - Any disputes or collections will be filed or settled in the Courts of Jefferson County, Kentucky. Additional fees may be assessed for unpaid balances and collection service fees.
